Why Is My Name?

Assalaamu'alaikum readers and writers..

The article above tells the name of Delana and Ember. Now.. I would like to tell you about my name. My name is Aas Mutiara Aningrum.

Since I was a child I wondered why my first name was Aas? Actually I don’t like the name Aas. And why my last name was Aningrum? Why not Ningrum? And all answered by my mother; AAS is an abbreviation of Asli Anak Subang/Sunda because I was born in Subang and Subang is sunda land, but this is just a coincidence. MUTIARA is the name of my father’s place of work in Jakarta when I was born. 

Did you know that MUTIARA is a pearl. Pearl is a very valuable object. Right? Like me(hehe).  As mentioned in the dictionary  :

And when I was child my nickname was taken from my middle name; Mutiara. Sometimes Muti, sometimes Mutia, Tia, Tiara, Ia. Then when I was in junior high school, my middle name was threatened with extinction. Friends and teachers all called me Aas, even though I repeatedly said "Please don't call me Aas, but call me Mutia". Because almost all of them call me Aas, I'm bored to tell that I'm Mutia. 

And the last my grandfather gave me the name ANINGRUM, I don't know what that meant. But the important thing is that my life and myself are full of meaning.  And because my name is Aningrum, I always thought of Java people. 

If later I have a son I will give the name  Zaid because Zaid is a very special bestfriend of Rasulullaah. And the only bestfriend of Rasulullaah whose name is immortalized in the Al-Qur'an (Sura Al-Ahzab: 37). Zaid is also the only one who was appointed by Rasulullaah as his adopted son. I think Zaid's name is very good. If my child is a girl, I don't have what name I will give.  Maybe my future partner will give our daughter's name. Wallahu'alam. (hihi)
Ok, actually I have answered that question. Next I'll answer number two. The English male names that I like are Harry, Alvin and Kevin. While the female names in English that I like are Rapunzel, Rosella and Elina.
Finally, if I can change my name. I want to have the name Astri. Why? Because I have a brother his name is Andri, and I also have a sister her name is Anggi. So I want the same as they are Andri, Anggi, Astri. Yeay!

But believe me now, I am grateful for my own name. And I like my own name. And I like the abbreviation of my name, AMA.

(3) PLP dan banyaknya teman

Selalu mengingat do'a apa yang dipanjatkan selama belum kuliah, yaitu minta teman yang banyak sama Allaah. Ternyata, kalau banyak manusia dijadikan teman dekat juga butuh manajemen. Terdengar aneh dan sepele, tapi sepertinya memang butuh seni dalam hal ini. Mungkin memang aku yang salah dan kurang tuntas dalam membaca, juga gagal dalam praktek lapangan.
