Assalaamu'alaikum.. I will introduce a book that I will devour. Tittle : Muallaf Author : John Michaelson Thickness : 343 pages First published in Indonesia, in 2014 by Gramedia Pustaka Utama Synopsis ‘Why did you decide to become a Muslim?’ This is a question often asked of me. Whenever I visit a mosque or musholla, whenever I avoid food and drink due to fasting, whenever I say ‘Peace be upon you’ to a fellow brother or sister. And you know what? I have never been able to offer a good enough answer. For I would need to talk of pain and heartache, of family and friendship, of laughter and longing. And ultimately, of finding love and acceptance in the heart of Indonesia. Which of course would mean travelling back to the very beginning. ‘Muallaf, one who converts to Islam, is the breathtaking story of a young British man’s psychological and spiritual journey. Without a doubt, this story will spritually enrich anyone who is looking for the stra...

Hi! Are You Mars?

Image
Assalaamu'alaikum readers and writers.. In this time I will talk a little about you, yes you guys! One of the biggest differences between men and women is how they cope with stress. If a men have a problem and feel stress, men become increasingly focused and withdrawn. While if a women have a problem and feel stress, women become increasingly overwhelmed and emotionally involved. It's true? I think it's true, because at these times, the need for men to feel better is to solve his problem. Unlike women, women will feel better by talking about her problem. If you dont't understand and accept differences between women and men. This will create the friction needed in the relationship. An example in the book "Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus" telling about a married couple.  When Tom comes home, he wants to relax and unwind by quietly reading the news. He's stressed by the unsolved problems of his day and finds relief throu...

Cahaya

"Tarik nafas.. tahan, hembuskan.
